How Arizona Timeshare Companies Draw People In

Arizona’s beautiful desert landscapes, luxurious resorts, and year-round sunshine make it a prime destination for timeshare sales. Developers and sales teams use enticing incentives to attract vacationers into attending sales presentations, often leading to contracts signed under high-pressure conditions. Common strategies include:

Discounted Resort Stays:

Visitors are often offered luxury resort stays in Scottsdale, Sedona, or Phoenix at deeply discounted rates in exchange for attending a timeshare presentation.

Free Golf or Spa Packages:

Arizona’s renowned golf courses and spa resorts make offers for complimentary rounds of golf or spa treatments a tempting deal.

Exclusive Adventure Packages:

Offers for discounted hot air balloon rides, guided desert tours, or exclusive event access can make attending a sales pitch feel like a small trade-off.

While these offers may seem too good to pass up, they often come with long-term financial commitments that aren’t fully explained during the sales process. If you’re ready to move on from your Arizona timeshare, VOC is here to help.

Arizona’s Rescission Period

Arizona law acknowledges that high-pressure sales tactics can lead to rushed decisions. Thankfully, the state provides a 10-day rescission period, giving buyers the chance to cancel their timeshare contract without penalty. Arizona Revised Statues 32-2197.03 states:

The purchaser may rescind the purchase agreement without cause of any kind by sending or delivering a written notice of rescission by midnight of the tenth calendar day following the day on which the purchaser or prospective purchaser executed the purchase agreement. The rescission rights shall be conspicuously disclosed in the purchase agreement. If the developer allows the rescission period to extend beyond ten calendar days, the rescission period disclosure in the purchase agreement shall reflect the longer period of time.
